WOD

1A. Deadlift
75-85% x 5 x 5/rest :15 sec 85% is 200#, did this for first round, but I tweaked my back a little yesterday and didn't want to make it worse before this weekend, so I dropped down to an easy 135# for the rest. 
1B. alligator walk
25 yards x 5/rest 2 min never done this before! Kind of fun! Broke down the 25 yards and took a short break every 8 yards or so. 
2. Airdyne
 tabata (20sec on 10 sec off for 8 rounds or 4 min)
Threw this one in there, my endurance could use a good push ;-)

I am competing in an in-house competition at my box this weekend (Crossfit Newton), so today was a light day. I'll probably use tomorrow as a rest and mobility day. 

Diet (updated throughout the day)

5am - 12pm 
40 oz water
protein shake 
soy yogurt with granola 
cliff bar builders protein bar
cup chai tea with 1 stevia packet

12pm - 6pm
40 oz water
Indian food: half naan bread, cup rice, 1.5 cup palak paneer 
orange
breakfast tacos; 2 eggs, 2 corn tortillas, half avocado and sprinkling of cheese

6pm - bedtime
20 oz water
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream with a little whipped cream
orange
arugula salad with beets, blue cheese crumbles, olive oil and vinegar
